What’s better than cake at midnight?
Cappuccino in a fine-dining hotel space, just the two of us – on his birthday.
At about 12 AM, we stepped into The Hillock Hotel, Ahmedabad – not to check in, but to indulge a spontaneous coffee craving. While they’re still in the process of setting up a designated café, the team already has professional equipment and offers about a few limited coffee options.
We chose the cappuccino – and it was no ordinary cup.
Priced at ₹250 (including taxes), it came in a huge 350 – 400 ml serving : hot, creamy, and satisfying.
To top it off, they surprised us with a complimentary cookie jar, filled and fresh.
And since it was midnight, we had the entire fine-dining area to ourselves. Peaceful, intimate, and truly special.
The hotel runs 24/7, so the moment felt unrushed – a quiet luxury tucked into a late-night celebration.
For the ambience, service, size, and experience, we’d say ₹250 was more than worth it.
A birthday memory sealed with caffeine and calm.
